Lovely small hotel in Venice just around the corner from the main square. Situated on a canal so you can take a water taxi direct to hotel which is a big plus. Great breakfast and nice little cocktail bar. We visited in winter but there are a couple of outdoor spaces that would be lovely in other seasons.

Well modernised boutique hotel in a preserved 14th century palace. Ideal location for visiting Venice, 5 minutes's walk from piazza San Marco and accessible also by water a short distance away from the Bridge of Sighs. A small, quiet garden by the canal edge is a rare bonus in Venice. Beautiful rooms / suites with character and tasteful decoration. Modern, efficient bathroom. Our room was ideally situated, on a high floor with plenty of light and quiet, with a view over the domes of San Marco, not directly over the canal or the street which can be noisy. Good breakfast which we enjoyed on the balcony overlooking the canal. Hotel reception staff was helpful with advice for planning our days, booking events and arranging transportation. We appreciated a complimentary bottle of Prosecco on our arrival. Overall, reasonable value for money in central Venice.

Location is unbeatable, just behind San Marco, yet very quiet neighborhood. Nice breakfast served in an elegant room on the top floor. Try to have breakfast on one of the two tables on the balcony for the view of the neighborhood and the canal. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room relatively large by European standards. and, do not miss the arrival and/or departure by water taxi to the airport. Unforgettable!

We recently returned from Venice and highly recommend Hotel Dona Palace. The location was perfect, just minutes from Saint Marks Square. The bedroom was very spacious with a lovely view of the terrace. We really enjoyed having drinks on the terrace and watching the gondola's come by. Breakfast was top notch with everything so fresh and our morning server was so kind and wonderful. We would highly recommend this property for your Venice stay and we certainly hope to be back!

Location is perfect (close to San Marco plaza and its buzz yet the hotel is quiet) Staff is super nice, kind, polite and resourceful Our room was large for a European Classic Double Room and luxuriously appointed Air conditioning was very efficient (in Venice during heat wave) Included breakfast is delicious with a good wide selection and the waiters were so nice Overall price-value is very very very good As many say: water taxi to the airport is just a real fun and efficient experience (albeit not cheap at 150 euros) Would really recommend this hotel

The location is literally a 2 minute walk from San Marco's Square. Amazing night life, close to St Mark's Bascillica, Doge's Palace, Gondala rides etc. The alley ways and canals are buzzing. The Hotel has a terrace overlookin the canals. Great for resting and enjoying a drink escaping the heat and taking it all in. The breakfast was pretty decent and staff very friendly and helpful.

The location is great, very close to San Marco square and as such pretty centrally located in the city. The breakfast is tasty and a nice experience, even if at times it's a bit cozy with the other guests. The room itself was up to expectations: the bed was comfy, the shower great, and decoration tasteful. All in all it was a very nice stay in a tastefully restored hotel that honors the Venetian architecture (take a look at the breakfast room if you can, amazing)

The location of the hotel is perfect, just off of the San Marco Piazza. 10 Steps out the door and you're in the heart of the action but still quiet enough to get a great night's sleep. The Executive Suite is amazing, including the patio rooftop hot tub which they fill on demand and takes less than an hour. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne which was lovely. The breakfast selection and service is excellent, wide variety of both hot and cold items. The front desk was very helpful in booking us a water taxi direct from the hotel on our trip back to the airport. The terrace bar on the main floor beside the canal is a beautiful place to sit just to relax and unwind from a day of activity and walking. Bed was comfy and in room - guest controlled a/c worked well.

The location was incredible being both a short walk to St Mark's square and having a boat dock to arrive via water taxi just under the famous bridge of sighs. The property was high class Venetian with an excellent staff and high end attention to detail. We really enjoyed sitting on the private patio along side the canal and having excellent cocktails provided by the bar manager Elias. They helped us book a return water taxi for an early morning departure and were always available to attend to our needs. The rooms were all HUGE and had incredible views of the canal. Complimentary bottled water and a tasteful welcome drink, chocolates and a note were a great touch. They made our honeymoon couple feel extra special and it was a wonderful way to experience Venice.
